AFC Energy Plc. Proud to be a PLC company based at Dunsfold Aerodrome, home to pioneering organisations including BBC’s Motoring Show Top Gear, who use as a test track. The aerodrome was formerly a Royal Canadian Air Force airbase constructed during the WW2 and was later used by British Aerospace as a manufacturing and test facility.

Summary:

AFC Energy Plc approached OC Projects Ltd to partner with in developing their recently acquired 30,000 sq ft facility. Office space was required for an additional 40+ desk positions. The building, formerly an old aircraft hangar was in poor condition and required a complete make-over to bring it into line with AFC Energy Plc’s corporate identity.

Details:

The existing mezzanine structure was stripped back, refitted with new staircase and better shaped. Internal windows constructed to overlook the manufacturing area. Canteen, WC’s, Showers, Corridor, Offices and Meeting Rooms, Canteen / Teapoint / WC’s / Shower fitouts. External works included new waste water drainage runs. LED high bay lighting to the Main Hangar. The original aircraft weighbridge scales refurbished.
