External Works:

Front and Rear Elevation changes included de-glazing and dismantling sections of framework, glass, steelwork, external cladding and roller-shutter doors ready for new curtain walling, new external cladding, new sliding vehicular access door and pedestrian doors. Form new pedestrian and vehicular access ramps. Spray painting of some roller shutter doors and external cladding to comply to the new Citroen Corporate Identity.

Internal Works included:

Stripout works included removal of old asbestos discovered floor tiles, isolations and removal of redundant mechanical service ducting and pipeworks in preparation for new ceiling, old office partitioning on first floor. A section of existing mezzanine floor and staircase together with demolishing an existing wall to ‘open-up’ areas between existing offices, Goods-In and the New Parts Dept. Drain down heating system, removal of redundant radiators and pipework in lieu of alternative radiators and heating. Removal of existing showroom floor tiles, floor grinding of existing sub-floor of old adhesive in preparation for new tiles.

Designing and installation of steel beams where previous masonry, block walls removed. Forming new solid and glass partitioning walls to create new Citroen Showroom. Works included: glass partitioning, new doors, ceilings, lighting, emergencies, power, data, air conditioning, new cold water supplies to serve coffee station pipework. New floor-tiles and carpeting to Citroen’s Corporate Identity specification.
