Anglo European College of Chiropractic, Education Refurbishment, Bournemouth, Dorset

The first chiropractic college in Europe with main buildings dating back to 1888.  A University College of leaders in musculoskeletal healthcare.  Providing the world with chiropractic professionals who are enthusiastic, equipped and ready to make a difference.  Students come from all  over the world to study and develop their career.  On-site state-of-the-art Chiropractic Clinic and facilities.  In 1988 the Council for National Academic Awards agreed to validate a Batchelor of Science degree. In 1990, it’s 25^th anniversary year,  HRH Diana Princess of Wales became Patron and in 2017 the College became University College status.

The Brief:     

OC Projects Ltd was very pleased to continue working with existing client in their historic and partly listed building to upgrade and modernise various teaching areas

The Project:

The works including conversion of a Bio-Chemistry laboratory with safe removal and capping off gas taps, fume cupboard and sink units.  Removal of old and replacements with new suspended ceilings, LED lighting and emergencies.  Electrical works included 3-comparment dado trunking and sockets  with some vertical ceiling drops.  Electrical floorboxes, switched spurs for TV’s and lights.  Bench mounted trunking with sockets and USB charging points. Plastering and making good works.  Re-siting of ancillaries items ie ceiling mounted projectors and wall mounted smartboards.   Full decorations and new two types flooring throughout. Furniture to include new desking and chairs.
