The Brief:

Following successful industrial and office refurbishment and fitout works completed to existing client’s previous premises, Office Concepts were delighted to continue working with them to refurbish and fitout to their new larger premises.  Works included: mezzanine floor, washroom room and canteen facilities fitout across both floors.

The Project:     

Design, create and build a mezzanine floor with straight staircase to Building Standards Part K. Base plates and fire rated columns.  Suspended ceiling with electrical, power and lighting below.   Stainless steel handrail, kneerail and kicker boards.  Complete stripout and refurbish to ladies and gents staff and visitor washroom toilet facilities, including cubicles, vanities, and duct sets in alternate colours, sanitaryware, flooring, Quartz vanity tops, additional feature light box pelmet detail, Infrared hardware.  Create, design and build 3 sets of Canteen facilities with numerous energy efficient instant hot water hydroboils on two floors.

Captec purchased a 42,000 sq ft premises that had been previously refurbished in all areas except for six toilet blocks, a large canteen and two kitchens. Also, a mezzanine floor was required to increase the floor space in the stores area.  Office Concepts were awarded the contract for all of this work. Although their quote was not the cheapest, their presentation instilled confidence that they would do a good job and would finish works on time within the extremely tight timescales required. Another reason for using Office Concepts on this occasion is that we have used their services before and had been happy with results. Overall, Office Concepts completed these substantial works to an extremely high standard and finished on time by working late and on weekends.  It has to be said that Captec has extremely high standards, so some of the snags we raised might not have been a problem for other customers. Office Concepts fixed the snags we raised in a timely manner and were instrumental in a successful move into our new premises.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Office Concepts for any similar work.
