A Cat A fitout can often provide either basic or high end level of finish to the interiors of a building.  May look like an empty finished shell of either industrial unit or office environment. Simple essential work carried out that may not add to the aesthetics of the building.  Taking dilapidated buildings to a restored condition ready for new tenants to move into.

Shell & Core

This is the basic internals of a building just completed often as a brand new build.  It will look complete, safe, and secure and finished from the outside with internals as a large open empty expanse from ground floor upwards.  You may see just concrete floor to exposed roof eaves.  It should have as minimum ground floor toilets or dependent on size of the building just a disabled toilet or DDA WC.   Extras dependent on the size and scale of the unit or building may be included such as lift, mezzanine floor, steel stair shaft to access roof.

Any fitout works undertaken can be completed direct as new tenant or client or via Landlord, Managing Agent
