St. Modwen Welcomes Luxury Online Fishmonger To Henley Business Park

St. Modwen has completed a deal to bring one of the UK’s leading specialist online fishmongers, The Fish Society, to its Henley Business Park scheme in Surrey – the region’s largest commercial regeneration project.

The Fish Society has signed a 10-year lease on a 12,448 sq ft unit and is expected to bring 16 jobs to the park.

Henley Business Park boasts eight high-specification units totalling 310,000 sq ft and provides an excellent location for regional industrial and logistics businesses.

The scheme is already home to award-winning events business, including: The Technical Department, leading logistics firm Diamond Logistics and community equipment provider Millbrook Healthcare.

Located in West Surrey, the business park has excellent access to the A31, A3, A331 Blackwater Valley relief road and M3 motorway at junctions 3 and 4.

Gemma Butler, Development and Leasing Manager at St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, said: “Henley Business Park is a key scheme within the region and has played an important role in the redevelopment of the area. The impact of Covid-19 hasn’t obstructed our ability to attract new businesses to our schemes and we look forward to welcoming The Fish Society to the scheme.”

Alistair Blair, Founder of The Fish Society, said: “We are a small business that’s experienced rapid growth in recent years, owing to our requirement for additional space. Henley Business Park was the prestigious address we were after and we knew we wanted to be based here as soon as we saw it. The scheme is well-located, with a good talent pool nearby and is very convenient for distribution. This is the perfect place for our company’s next phase.”

Henley Business Park was established during World War II as an armament’s factory by Vokes Ltd and maintained a presence there until the site was acquired by St. Modwen in 2002.
